Social Station Group (t/a FITFCK) secures Series A investment from Nathaniel Massiah

FITFCK, the leading omni-channel fitness dating brand for gym-enthusiasts, welcomes investment from European champion powerlifter, Nathaniel Massiah, at a valuation of £15m. The impressive A Round investment was sparked by an introduction from electrician turned fitness content creator, Callum Roberts.

Callum Roberts spent 4 years working as a 9-5 electrician when he realised he needed to make a change. With a flair for sales and ability to build relationships, Roberts turned to the internet and started his journey as an online sales coach. In addition, his passion for fitness paved the way for a second side hustle as a content creator in this space. This same passion brought him to FITFCK – the leading omni-channel fitness dating brand for gym-enthusiasts.

What came next sparks motivation for all budding entrepreneurs. After putting in the ‘reps’, Roberts, who is now a key figure in FITFCK left his 9-5 behind. Fast forward to now, Callum’s involvement has been pivotal in securing FITFCK A Round investment at a £15m valuation. Through Robert’s introduction, FITFCK has welcomed the first significant investor to the A Round syndicate, European powerlifting champion Nathaniel Massiah.

Not only is Massiah a powerhouse in the fitness space, he is a leading creator with over 500,000 followers and is sponsored by some of the biggest global fitness brands – all at just 21 years old! His content offers unique fitness content with the opportunity to work with him through 1-1 coaching.

Nathaniel commented:

“Having watched the FITFCK journey over the past year, I have not only been impressed by the overall growth of the brand but also their ability to create such a talked about fitness community. I think the concept of connecting like minded gym lovers is something that we can all relate to and I cannot wait to see what we can achieve together in 2024 and the future.”

Roberts added,

“Nathaniel’s story is something that many young people can be motivated by. Going from a gym newcomer, to a content creator, to a sponsored European weightlifting champion and now an investor by 21 years old is nothing short of inspiring. I could not be prouder to be sharing the FITFCK journey with him and I know he will be adding value to the brand in more ways than just one.”

This exciting collaboration builds upon the success of FITFCK’s previous high profile investment from OnlyFans founder Tim Stokely, who invested at a £3m valuation. Massiah’s investment at a 5x valuation (£15m) is a testament to FITFCK’s exponential growth over the last 12 months.

The company, described as “The 2023 fitness brand to watch out for″ by Bodybuilding.com, will be using the A Round funding to continue its UK growth and support USA expansion. It’s been reported that fitness dates are a growing trend among Gen Z and millennial singles. A 2023 dating app survey reported that 46% of Gen Z and millennial USA singles went on fitness related first dates, highlighting a demand for FITFCK’s impressive product suite, which offers online/offline dating plus networking opportunities.

FITFCK is not shying away from the ‘creator economy’ which shows no sign of slowing down. The ‘2024 Influencer Trends’ report states the ‘creator economy’ is predicted to be worth £398bn by 2027. Founder, Wykes-Hobday and his team are excited to welcome more creators into their A Round syndicate.

Wykes-Hobday, commented:

“Creator investors will be an integral part of our brand growth. I’m grateful to have a solid team of creators within our FITFCK community. There’s no doubt they will support us in reaching our true potential in 2024 – where we’re really going to be raising the bar, if you like.”
