Bristol-born food and drink discovery app Wriggle has raised £940,000, and will use the funds to launch into multiple new cities across the UK, starting with Birmingham in September.
Speaking about the raise, Wriggle founder Rob Hall says: “We’re delighted with the round – it’s a huge show of support in all the hard work we’ve put into the platform, and means that we are well-capitalised to deliver on our plans for the coming years.”
Wriggle is your guide to the best independent food & drink in Cardiff, Bristol and Brighton, with firm plans to launch in Birmingham in September 2019. Via a free app and website, Wriggle’s mission is to help you discover the finest local establishments at affordable prices, at the same time as helping top-notch independent restaurants and cafes get the customers they deserve.
The Wriggle team handpick the places on the app and website to make sure that they feature only the best – whether that’s great street food, quality coffee, or fancy fine-dining. Visit the website at www.getawriggleon.com to find out more and create an account.
