CENTRED acquires Beauty Match and adds CEO Joel Mallet to the beauty team
Breakthrough Travel Platform, CENTRED Expands its Offering to allow Members Even More Experiences in the Beauty Sector Whilst Adding New Exec
London, 14th December 2020 – CENTRED, the global travel start-up, which connects travellers with curated health and fitness partners around the world, has acquired Beauty Match to improve its beauty and wellness experience offering. At the same time, Beauty Match CEO Joel Mallet will be joining as CENTRED’s head of global beauty and lifestyle, to help add to the platform’s growing beauty portfolio.
Customers will now be able to use CENTRED to connect them with the exact professional they need, in dozens of cities globally. By acquiring the Beauty Match app, launched in 2018, CENTRED customers can now connect directly with beauty professionals based on treatments, ratings, location, expertise, and other variables. A member visiting a different city for business but looking for an aesthetician to perform a facial using a specific brand of skincare products, will now be able to find that combination at the touch of a few buttons on the CENTRED platform.
Meanwhile, Beauty Match CEO Joel Mallet joins the CENTRED team to bring thirty years of experience in the beauty industry. Mallet has truly global beauty experience, beginning his career in Paris, before moving to Bangkok to manage the salons for the Accor Hotel Group, and then on to become the artistic director for French luxury beauty superpower DESSANGE Paris, Chicago and New York. After moving to California he founded Beauty Match after observing the success of dating apps, realising the demand for a mutual-matching service between beauty professionals and clients.
