Opsly Cloud (t/a Opsly) secures Pre-Seed investment from QVentures

QVENTURES INVESTS IN OPSLY, A NO-CODE CLOUD APPLICATION BUILDER

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, QVentures has announced their latest investment into Opsly, a platform that allows software developers to build cloud infrastructure and architecture with no prior coding or cloud knowledge necessary.

The Opsly platform enables businesses to utilise their existing in-house software development team to build business products on the cloud with minimal time invested in learning about cloud engineering and DevOps. In turn, this helps small-medium businesses cut costs on hiring Cloud Engineers in a software development team and enables them to launch their cloud-based products to their clients quicker and more efficiently.

Opsly’s platform uses a simple ‘drag and drop’ system to design, build, and launch business applications on Cloud Service Providers such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes. The platform allows the developer to select cloud services of choice and the tool will generate the necessary build code to integrate it with many external providers. Opsly can also handle cloud management such as scaling, security and resiliency.

In the same way that the introduction of public cloud servers allowed companies to rapidly develop, test and launch applications, QVentures believes that the rise of low-code and no-code platforms will eventually allow anyone to build their own software with little-no development experience.

Brian Hatton, Partner at QVentures says,

“With current platforms focusing on core application development, Opsly’s intuitive drag and drop interface will become a critical component in streamlining the deployment of these applications on the cloud and ongoing DevOps management. We’re excited to be working with Dhiraj and the team to see them through these next stages.”

Dhiraj Narwani, CEO and Co-Founder of Opsly says,

“Working with Brian and Harveer from QVentures has been very smooth and responsive. They were patient with us whilst we were securing the other investors and were supportive on the legal side to close very quickly. We are looking forward to continuing to work together.”

With seven years of cloud building experience, Dhiraj has built over 20 platforms for Fortune 500 companies. Alongside Dhiraj, Co-Founder and CTO, Ron Bakker is an experienced product manager and software & infrastructure architect with 25+ years of experience in public cloud, life sciences, interactive media, IoT and analytics.
