PowerEPOS secures £325k debt finance from ThinCats

Fintech lender ThinCats has provided a software company for the hospitality sector with £325,000 of growth funding.

Power EPOS, which is based in Liverpool, will use the funding to continue to expand the business’s market share and increase competitiveness.

Leicestershire-headquartered ThinCats was introduced to the management teams at Power EPOS by Commercial Loans & Finance, who liaised with ThinCats regional business development director, Andrew Tapsell.

Power EPOS chief executive Gary Smith said: “The hospitality industry moves quickly, and so it was important for us to secure our growth funding quickly and painlessly.

“The amount of time Andrew spent with us getting to really know the business and to clarify points was very useful.

“It was rewarding to have ThinCats understand what we want to do with the business in terms of growth and have complete faith that we will be able to meet our goals.”

Tapsell added: “Having seen the quality of its product and service offering, I knew Power EPOS is exactly the sort of SME that ThinCats loves to support.

“Power EPOS is a great example of a regional business with a strong growth trajectory.

“We look forward to becoming a long-term partner and watching this business continue to flourish.”
